So then by your logic, Mormon Central is the most politically intelligent city in America? Nice. I don't think there is any question that S.F./Bay Area takes the cake in this race.
Washington D.C., having re-elected convicted coke head pimp Marion Barry, would have to be the most politically ignorant city, don't you think?
the problem in most of these areas are the black populations that are being duped by the Left into thinking that money give-a-way social programs are going to help them, so they all vote Democrat... There is a reason that the most sucessful black Americans (i dont say African American unless they are from Africa, same goes with any other ethnic group) tend toward the Right...
Seems awfully subjective to me. Can you substantiate that? Further, why are so many of both prominent and poor whites democrats? Trying to draw a comparison between intelligence or success and political affiliation is insane.
I think there's a correlation between success & political affiliation - its just not quite black & white. Poor, impoverished people vote Democrat because they think that it helps them the most. Rich white guys with a bleeding heart for the poor people vote democrat because they want to help them (in the wrong way, IMO). A smart guy I know recently said, "LBJ was the worst thing to ever happen to black people because he made them think they were entitled to something".
If these two statements are true, then who votes Republican? There are just as many rich people that vote Republican because they have been duped into thinking that the right wing will fool with their money less.
Rich, heartless white people - it would appear. I think that it's also just a different approach of attempting to help people - by actually making them do stuff, like work - those heartless bastards. (except... see next part). Very true. But that's because it's what the republican party was supposed to stand for - the whole small govt thing. It doesn't hold much substance anymore, but that doesn't seem to effect people's voting habits or the party's public image.
