I've deleted the 2 threads on the advice of a few, if Brett wants to put them back he can. I would suggest though that before anyone posts anything about the game being canceled that they think about the consequences of this disaster. LSU is being used as a focal point in relief efforts along with also being a center for people who are homeless, a medical center for those that have been moved from hospitals and other things. Please also think of the emergency personnel that have been sent down into SE Louisiana as well as policemen, utility workers and every other kind of support staff that LSU would normally call on to help them organize and put on the football game on Saturday.
Well said....may God bless each of you during this time. Tiger football will return, let's focus on those we can help.
Good move Caj! We should all realize that everyone's emotions are running high, but this is for the better of everyone that the game was cancelled...
I know, it's just a football game vs. North Texas. I was a little shocked at the decision, and I kept trying to find ways to move the game and stuff, but in retrospect this wasn't just any hurricane, this was maybe the worst ever. Football just isn't important right now.
and the selfish bone says "BATON ROUGE HAD NO DAMAGE" WTF... but it is a larger scale than just BR... I agree...
