Steltz ha splayed great all year. He's like Jack Hunt with football athleticism.

Beckwith has really jumped out this year. Great body of work from him this year.

Ali Highsmith seemed dead-set on killing somebody tonight. Don't know if a Fresno guy kicked his puppy or what, but dude was possessed tonight. Great to see. Easily the best undersized LB I can remember.

What a nice play when he literally separated a wide open receiver from the ball. BIG TIME hit, of course he's learning from two very good safeties ! I hadn't heard but I guess Jesse Daniels must be hurt ?

Yeah, he cleaned a bulldog's clock on the Davis' TD run when Highsmith took out 3.

My favorite defensive play was made by Chevis. He saved a TD when he barely went by the lone blocker and caught the RBs ankles before he could make a move.

Also Beckwith real good closing speed. He always seems to trick the QB into thinking they have more time than they really do and explodes on them in no time at all.

So many big hits hard to pick one but that was definitely one that stands out.
Glad you at least remember a little from the game- you must not have drunk enough!:yelwink2:

When he was in there, Danny McCray (#44) I thought played well and I think he might make a strong push to start or at least be in nickel packages like Steltz is now. He's already making an impact on special teams. Did anyone notice the hit Curtis Taylor had on special teams last night? Hope Jesse comes back for the Tennessee game.
