I am a first time poster. I was thinking should LSU again totally commit to max pressure with blitzes or tweak the gameplan somewhat? I personally think the blitzing should be relentless. 'LSU 31 AU7 LSU27 BAMA 3....... Life is great in alabama in 03.

I like that gameplan and It'll work as long as our offense can score.

If you read the thread I just posted than you can see the
    results of gambling like that.

the key is being able to "read" the offense. When they "see" blitz they may try to audible and throw that Rb out of the backfield play you spoke of. Actually, we have,nt been burned all that much, we USUALLY pick up any floaters out of the backfield. BUT when you play the type defense we do, pressuring, stunts, etc... it can leave you open every now and then. That's why Saban has so many of them ... so THEY can't tell WHAt is going on and they CANT audible correctly. Every now and then even a blind hog can find an acorn. For the most part Our "D" can handle it.
