    Wins Championships.

OU and LSU are #1 & #2 in total defense. USC would get their asses handed to them on a silver platter by either team.
    Any questions?

BTW-Congrats on a great season, y'all have a great coach and we look forward to the challenge.

    Thanks Sooner,

There's no doubt usc hasn't played a team as good as either
of us, and thats too bad because this whole sherrade would
be over after the 1st quarter.

And we look forward to seeing you in New Orleans...........

I watched the Washington State vs. Washington game. Believe me, when you say that USC played Washington State, you are not saying much of anything. Washington started in Washington State territory 5 times and scored 0 points! And still came back and beat Washington State. I do not even consider Washington State amongst the top 25 teams in the country. So USC's best win is not even as good as is projected.

Sooner 51: Seriously, are Oklahoma fans worried about the game given what happened vs. KSU? Or is the general sentiment that it was just a flat performance and OU is still the juggernaut everyone thought they were? I was one of those "It's Oklahoma and everybody else" guys, especially after the demolition of A&M and Okie State. A little doubt (or call it hope) crept in when I read that Baylor shut OU out in the 2nd half of their game when (so I read) OU was desperately trying to score. Anyway, what I'm asking is, in your opinion has OU Nation's psyche taken a big hit or is there real confidence out there? What say you?

your right about USC they would get killed by OU and LSU D. Mich will be the best team by a long shot that they have faced. I live in Pac 10 land and all I am hearing now is how they are going to kill mich?????? Because mich got beat by Oregon

BTW, Michigan is #6 in the nation against the pass. USC is in trouble.

The best PAC-10 team is rated 41st (UCLA) and Oregon State at #47. UL-Lafayette is rated higher than all the other PAC-10 teams. That should put things in perspective folks. This includes USC at # 110.

SabanFan: OU fans took a big hit last weekend. I, for one, was high on life after going wire to wire #1 and undefeated throughout the season. That game last weekend was not a flat performance. KSU made the plays when they had to. Bill Snyder, the Stoops bros mentor, was 0-3 against them and that team had nothing to lose, and they played like it. Being half belligerent when actually watching the game I felt as if we just didn't show up. After watching the replay I saw that we just didn't make the plays. I'm not necessarily "worried" about the game, but I think it could be a damn good one. Obviously we don't think we are invincible after the slacking we took last weekend, but we're still confident after seeing how our team has treated opposing units throughout the year. The fact about both of our D's scares me, w/o seeing LSU a whole lot this year personally, it's hard to imagine another defense putting up insane #'s simillar to ours, which tells me anything can happen. I think it will be a battle and turnovers will be big.
One more thing......no question....this game is for the heavyweight championship of the world.

Correct USC is way overrated!!!! You can't play such a weak schedule and then complain about getting no respect. You should have to earn a shot at the title. OU is a high quality football team and we will need to play a great game to come away with a win. It should be a great game and we look forward to partying with the sooners in Nawlins. Geaux Tigers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
