There are sources that are reporting that Ryan Miller has changed his verbal committment from Texas A&M to LSU. He is currently rated 4 stars on rivals and is the #2 center in the nation. More should be out about this by tomorrow. Taylor
You'd have figured Fifthchoiceione would have been the first rat off the Titanic over there, but I dunno... I bet that he's wishing he would have never left TCU...Especially since they're knocking on a BCS bowl's door...
His wallet is happy at A&M. As an aggie Im starting to wonder about firing RC but I will give fran until next year. At least Ryan is going to my second favorite team and I sure hope that he gives LSU a good chance to win. Center is a very important position. I will always cheer for him.
Are there any links to articles about the decommitment? Dandy Don hasn't updated anything yet, but he did say we picked up a new commentment from Tremaine Johnson (DT, 6'2", 260) from Galena Park.
The editor of Aggie websider just heard it from Ryan's dad. He said he will try to have an article up tonight. This is all very surprising to me since both of his parents went to A&M.
TexanTiger- I didn't realize you were an Aggie fan. Since you are, what is your take of the Fran situation and what has happened this year? What is the general feeling among Aggie fans? I'm a believer that a coach should usually get 3-4 years baring any unusual circumstances. I'm not that familiar with the Aggies but I think they have a lot more talent than their record indicates which all points to coaching. What's the deal?
Well its really hard to say considering the following factors: Just about all of our starters are freshmen or sophomores b/c of poor recruiting a few years ago. We had one of if not the hardest scedules in the nation this year. New system.....changing from a 3-4 to a 4-3 on defense is killer. But, even with all of those factors we should not have the record that we do and we should never EVER get beat by 70+ points. Most people are really starting to worry about Fran but nobody will give up on him for another year or two. Its taken time everywhere that he has been. Still, the worst loss in school history and the first losing season in my life (20 years) is hard to swallow. Taylor
