Ok, stop and think about this for a second. Do you really think any political cartoonist would draw a cartoon depicting Obama as a monkey and show him getting fatally shot by police officers? And that editors would choose to publish the cartoon? I highly doubt it. This is a silly controversy. But it goes to show that some people are too invested in the race baiting business to let it end now, black president or not.
I can easily see where this could be construed as racist except that Obama had nothing to do with drafting the plan. And Pelosi does have monkey features.
If you read enough about that Chimp he was getting on the internet, taking baths, using the toilet, etc. I assume the cartoonists point was a dumb monkey could have drafted the stimulus bill.

I just think it's a dumb cartoon. But the chimp attack was in New York, right, so maybe it was more in the news up there to make the connection? I heard the Reverend Sharpton on Tom Joyner in the Morning yesterday going off on this in no uncertain terms. "Why would one of our people want to achieve the highest office in this country, only to be portrayed as an APE in a newspaper just weeks later?"
