Just came off the Dawgvent and pleased to report that almost all Dawg fans that were down for the game came back with positive comments about the experience. There has also been much discussion why we aren't as vocal as you guys in our support of our team...that is to say, we're just as supportive but maybe not with the same passion. Could you give us lessions? Two wishes: 1) we get to play you again in the SEC championship game this year 2) at some point before I die, I get to attend a GA/LSU game in Tiger Stadium.
Thanks, and it's good to know...We had some knucklehead talk about what he saw "firsthand"...and this was an LSU fan...and then we have you guys... I'm sure-like anywhere else-there are a few bad apples. I think by and large, though, we dispelled the myth surrounding our bad behavior towards opposing fans.
Scooterdawg: Louisiana people love life. No other people have such fun being themselves. It carries over to football.
I'm really glad to hear that scooterdawg! I know most LSU fans really want our guests to have a great time and it saddens us when we hear negative stories about a few bad apples wearing purple and gold. Hope you can make down for a game sometime.
Other than Auburn I make a point of talking to fans before and after game. I hate it when people make up so many Stories about LSU and the Fans. I think most of those bad Stories have come from Auburn fans. I hate Auburn
