Confirmation that no one knows exactly what in the hell is going on. Buckle up, boys, it's going to be another day filled with anxiety. Per Dandy Don: There is no official late-breaking news to report on the Nick Saban-Miami deal. I did receive one email last night telling me that Saban told his staff members at a Christmas party at his home that he was staying at LSU, but a few minutes later the same person reported the information was not accurate. I also heard last night that a press conference would be held today at LSU and a few minutes later I received a email from someone else saying the press conference was going to be held in Miami. I do not want to mislead or excite anyone with false hopes, but I am starting to feel much better about the situation. I received a phone call late last night from a very upright, trustworthy person who I had only spoken to once since I have been doing this page and he sounded very confident that Saban was going to stay at LSU. I hope and pray that Saban is staying, but I am trying to prepare myself for the worse. Miami owner Wayne Huizenga said late Tuesday night that he was not ready to offer the Dolphins' job to anyone and that he would like to meet with Saban. He said he has some questions to ask Saban that he forgot to ask in their first meeting. It does not sound like the Miami owner is in a hurry to make a decision, and I believe Saban is starting to be affected by the love that Tiger fans are showing. I want to encourage all of you to email Coach Saban today, early and often, and ask him to stay. Please call a friend or a cousin and ask them and everyone you know to do the same. I will be by my computer and phone this morning waiting for news to break. I will let all of you know if it does, but I will not jump to report anything that I cannot confirm.
