I had no idea that my brother and friends had embarked upon converting an old school short bus into a mini purple and gold party mobile until I went back to New Orleans two weeks ago. It's still a work in progress, of course, but damn if it doesn't look fun. It's cramped, but they're putting in a stereo system w/ phat speakers, strobe lights, a fold-out bed, bathroom, and a built-in cooler. I've already promised $$ to get that bad boy in tip-top shape for football season. I say it's a step up from that old purple-painted Pinto bbq pit that I've seen in recent years during tailgating. Man, is it football season yet? :helmet:
Ask your brother and his friends to return the "short bus" to the EBR parish school district. Without the bus Fightin'tiger has no transportation to and from school............
I'm pretty sure I saw this out in New Orleans during Mardi Gras. I believe it was on the Orpheous parade route. That's pretty cool.
