Talking about Eli and how he is going to be able to handle playing football in NY. Cutcliff said HAH...try going to Baton Rouge!! I never realized how hard it must be for visiting fans to come play in Death Valley. Just makes me even more proud to be an LSU fan!!!!!!!!!!:geaux: :geaux: :geaux: :geaux: :geaux:

I think someone posted that Eli said the exact same thing about LSU.

The first time the New York media crucifies him for a bad game he'll wish he was back in Tiger Stadium.

I agree - if you live in NYC or spend any time there you get to see how intense the media coverage is. If you screw up in Louisiana you get ribbed in the Picayune or the Advocate. Screw up in NY and you get beat down on the cover of 12 major publications read worldwide on a daily basis.

Not feeling sorry for the Ole Pisser, just suggesting he and the Royal Family fasten their belts and pack the Pepto because NYC ain't Pohdunk, Mississippi...

Eli Manning will be a mirror image of what his brother Peyton did in his 1st year. He is probably already learning the playbook as we speak. Kerry Collins already has balked and says he wants to move on (out of NY). Eli Manning will be the starter when game 1 rolls around in September. He will succeed because he will work so hard that he can do nothing less than succeed. It will be amazing to see 2 brothers who are basically going to be the best 2 QBs in the league in about 3 years.

And I am not even much of a fan of his. Now that's real.

Would that be the Detmer brothers or the Hasselbeck brothers?
