I kinda mentioned the Mettenburger connection yesterday, maybe Miles won't let him go until Mett signs. But I would think it would be too late for ULL by then.
Miles doesn't have to "let him go" and and you're right we're surely not waiting until Mett signs in February- that would also be too late for us.

Well Mett is going to be an early enrollee, so I think he's going to be done with all that by mid to late Dec... hell he might even participate in some of LSU's bowl practices, so it wouldn't be Feb. Although, getting a head coach that late in Dec could be very bad for a school... you still have to assemble a staff and get things in place quickly before it takes a toll on recruiting.

I remember watching that, and there was no way in HELL i am supposed to believe that Andy Reid wasn't at least 32 years old in that Punt Pass contest.
Do you think that maybe Miles is thinking Mett is going to come in and save the day? Saving Crowton and perhaps maybe his job?
