Who will be the first SEC team to get "Croomed" this year and lose their head coach? Choice of two Tigers during August/September. Go Dawgs!

I realize reality may be hard to swallow, but Croom had very little to do with Shula. Now, I can't speak for Zook...

The better question is how is the State of Mississippi going to find two Division I quality coaches who are willing to live and work in North Mississippi at the end of this season. It could be earlier - Coach Oh No may not make it past the University of Memphis loss. At least Ole Miss is close to Memphis. But Starkville? The only town where Skip always insisted on a room without a view.

But cheer up Dawg, State and Ole Miss will have plenty of time to hunt for new head coaches – neither school will be bowling.

Ole Miss might...wouldn't shock me. I don't see MSU bowling. Will UK?

State is still too short on overall talent and depth. Their best chance is when teams overlook them (since it is LSU's first game I have confidence in our coaching staff to overcome any of that, even with the VT game following).

Ole Mis has way too many questions - QB, Receivers, Offensive Line and practically the entire Defense are all suspect - just no consistency. The may well lose their first game to the University of Memphis and the season will be downhill from there if they do. Coach Oh No talks like an old time football coach - smell the grass - yaw, yaw, yaw. He talkes about great expectations for the season. Then he announces that his star recruits have not lived up to all his hype and are no longer coachable - their success and the success of the team is up to them - the coaches can do no more. All in all this does not sound like a winning season in Oxford.

I think the end of the season will see State and Ole Miss playing in the egg bowl and then spending the holidays searching for new head coaches.

I think UK has a real good chance of bowling this season.

I think South Carolina will suprise a lot of folks and could be 2nd in the Eastern Division and win at least two of their big three divisions games - Tennessee, Georgia or Florida. Love him or hate him, the Visor can coach and motivate.

I just don't see Miss St. ever being a big time program. A real up and comer coach would hold out for a less hopeless job.

I just don't see them getting good enough players to win and no matter how good you coach, you have to have the athletes.

Best they can ever hope for is a 6-6, 7-5 season and a Indy trip.
