I wouldn't be surprised at all to see Flynn have an amazing season and finish high on the list of QB's this year. Maturity and patience (not to mention character and leadership) are pretty valuable, especially on a team carrying such high expectations. Does this situation remind anyone else (loosely) of Steve Walsh taking over for Joe Montana?

Croom knows his football, a shame he took the Miss. St. job. He must have wanted to be a head coach pretty bad.

Sometimes we think a coach is a failure without looking at where he's at and the circumstances at the school he's at.

I don't think Pete Carroll, Bob Stoops, or even Nick (I'll always be a Tiger) Saban could win there.
