now that's more what i'm used to remembering ($1.50/lb).....i know there's inflation but now i know i'm paying inflated prices.....if you can can you let me know how much these cost: shrimp orlando price $7.99/lb (small) $13.99/lb (jumbo) catfish orlando price $3.99/lb crab (claw meat) $8.99/lb thank you.....
Snort, You will find a HUGE price difference in crawfish. Obviously due to your location. The price on the shrimp might be anywhere to $1.00-$4.00 less in Louisiana. It all depends on where you buy from(street vendor, seafood market or your local grocery). The price on the crab claws are about the same anywhere you go(give or take a buck). The $4.00 you're paying for catfish is about right. I know a couple places here in town that run specials for $2.99 every once in a while on the fillets. Call Tony's seafood in Baton Rouge. They will ship anything you want to your door.
Aint it amazing? La., the crawfish capital of the world and they are selling s&(t from China! I couldn't believe it when I went home a couple of years ago and bought some peeled tails in a La. producers wrapper and then opened it only to find out they came from freakin China!
