My second Colin Cowheard comment from ESPN Radio, but he's loving all over LSU right now should UCLA win. Says LSU being on the outside looking in is absurd, and that if LSU beats Georgia they will 4 wins over top 20 teams as opposed to Penn St's 2. LSU will also have 2 good road wins (Bama and Georgia) and Penn St has none. He's ripping Penn St. lovers that are calling in giving him reasons Penn St. shouldn't be left out if UCLA wins. And I have to agree with him, unbiased of course, but raw data pretty much says Penn St is WAY overrated. Cowheard says that beating Georgia tomorrow SHOULD be enough to tell people that hey, if UCLA wins we should be playing Texas. That's the key right there. He's doing it to get a rise out of the callers. He knows that most of the nation wants to see Penn State get in, so he's going against the grain to get people fired up. Seems to be his MO. I personally wouldn't put too much stock in it.
especially considering this genius said in preseason, that "the SEC was not ready for Urban Meyer. Meyer's offense was gonna take this conference by storm. Imagine his Utah teams with talent...no contest Urban Meyer coach of the year in SEC.":lol:
despite what Cowherd said about Meyer in the preseason, he does give a lot of love to the SEC and how tough of a conference it is. Meyer coached Utah not Utah State by the way
Never got into Cowherd. Spent 20 minutes bashing Peyton Manning last year before their Broncos playoff game for never winning the SEC. Then a caller reminded him he won it in 1997 and he hung up on the caller. Not that I like Peyton but I found it odd he hung up on someone correcting his stupidity
he hangs up on people all the time if they prove him wrong....sorry i cant listen to anyone on espn radio but dan patrick.....cowheard might be giving us love now but a month and a half ago he said we were the worst 1 loss team in the nation and that miami would destroy us......
I heard it also and liked what he was saying this morning but I agree he has motives behind doing it. That had some serious shock value to non-LSU people across the country.
Not a big fan of Cowheard. he rips the SEC and is in LOVE with the PAC-10. I like Tony Kornheiser and Dan Patrick.
