Cover of SI

I heard they are putting USC on the cover as National Champs.

 

Makes me wish I had a subscription to cancel.

 

I also read here on a post on the previous page that Bush has invited USC to the White House as Natl. Champs. Has LSU been invited?

 

SI too? I know that Sporting News did it. Is it SI also, or is it a mix up?

 

Per SI..

Louisiana will get the LSU cover
Cali will get the USC cover
The rest of the country will get Pete Rose

Good idea to regionalize the covers... Would have had alot of cancelled subscriptions if they hadn't.

 

What about those of us who live in Texas. I want my LSU cover for my office. If I dont get it, dont worry cancel that subsciption I will....

LSU are National Champions as agreed to at the beginning of the Season. USC were National Champions of 48 sports writers.

You'd think any school that beats Oklahoma for a national championship would be a Texan's favorite that year...

It's going to be hard to vote for Bush if he doesn't invite the Tigers...but the alternatives...*shudder*

 

If this is true, George W. just lost my vote for the 2004 election.
