    Ayers, McDaniel back: The Vols will get defensive tackle Tony McDaniel and defensive end Robert Ayers back for the LSU game after they were suspended for the first two games.

    Both were originally charged with felony aggravated assault in separate offseason incidents. They wound up pleading guilty to reduced charges of misdemeanor assault and were also placed on indefinite probation by UT after undergoing the student judicial process.
