Therefore the statement comes out that it will be 24-48 hours? 48 hours being the day after Christmas. That way Nick could talk to his players Sunday morning prior to making the announcement that he is going to leave after the bowl game? I'm just looking for answers like everyone else.

I hope I'm wrong but one way or another Nick has to get this done. He has pushed many over the edge. :geaux:

Nick didn't want to ruin High-Zinger's Christmas Eve.

That's the reason for the delay.

He doesn't make the decision to coach the bowl game... LSU may decide that he shouldn't coach the game. Many fans will agree. Got It?

He hasn't pushed me over the edge. This comes with the territory. Obviously Pete Carroll is in a different situation. He is essentially a failed NFL coach who happens to like his gig at USC, which has saved his ass. Stoopes is OU material all the way. I don't see him pulling a Switzer. I am not going to read anything into that statement. Whatever happens, happens, it is out of our control. Saban knows we support him. He also knows that these fools in the NFL and Miami will turn on him at the drop of a dime. It's his to decide.
