    If LSU win against Alabama and Auburn losses Saturday against Miss State, LSU gets a first round bye and is the #2 seed in the West? If LSU wins and Miss State loses, Miss State win tiebreaker with a better SEC West record.

    Here are the tiebreakers for the SEC seeding from the SEC site.

    The tie-breakers for tournament seeding follow.
    For a two-team tie:
    1. head-to-head; (LSU/Auburn Split)
    2. division record (10 games); (LSU 5-5 and Auburn 5-5)
    3. record vs. No. 1 team in division proceeding through the No. 6 team if necessary(LSU split with Miss St and Auburn 0-2 against Miss State)

    No need to go any further down the tiebreaker

    4. non- division record (6 games);
    5. record vs. No. 1 team in the opposite division proceeding through the No. 6 team if necessary;
    6. coin flip by the Commissioner.

    I will correct myself

    With Auburn's victory tonight. The worst their SEC record will be in 6-4 thus beating LSU in a tiebreaker. LSU is looking at best #3 SEC West seed and no worst than a #4 SEC West Seed.

    SEC #3 West will play Vanderbilt at 2:15 Thursday with winner playing Florida on Friday at 2:15
    SEC #4 West will play South Carolina at 6:30 Thursday with winner playing Kentucky Friday at 6:30
