Both conventions are over and polls show a fairly big bounce (much bigger than I thought) for McCain but claim it could be bigger by Tuesday after Monday polling. I really thought Obama would maintain a lead over McCain despite the RNC. If the country is as bad off as we are lead to believe, why is this race so close? Doesn't everyone hate and blame the republicans for everything? I have said it before but I am really scratching my head over these candidates. Perhaps the country is too, so it will be interesting to see if it finishes as close as the last two elections have. Personally I am anxious to see the debates or town halls, or whatever they call them now. It will be nice to see if the last 60 days will show that both guys continued to act like they have in the first 2 years. That would be a small revolution in and of itself. I've heard CNN saying a presidential forum is occurring on Thursday. Pig talks, horse talks, pig talks?

At last we can see these guys get pinned down on some things. So much of what is said on the trail is gobbledygook.
