Consession: USC to play Oklahoma in the title game

    After having seen both teams almost every game this season, I think USC is the best opponent for Oklahoma. I think we have a very solid team...one of the top 5 in the country but I think the Trojans are ahead of us. Much better offense, comparable defense and special teams.

    What stinks is we won't have a shot at Michigan in the Orange or Fiesta because they will play Washington State in the Rose Bowl. It looks like a LSU vs Texas rematch in the Cotton Bowl.

    i don't think we'll go to the cotton bowl unless we don't make the SEC CG or we lose the SEC CG. If we win out and are shut out of the rose bowl, we'll probably go to the Fiesta.

    This team beat Ole Miss 17-7...and if you take away bad plays, it could have easily been worse...

    We played poorly, but we won...and you're conceeding things?

    Actually, Oklahoma will probably have a tough time getting past Kansas State in the Big 12 CG.

    How does an LSU-USC matchup in the Sugar Bowl sound?
    There is no reason for LSU to concede anything at this point.

    But to get anywhere, LSU has to take care of their own business.

    Where was USC's offense when they lost to California? And I also seem to remember Oklahoma's offense struggling immensely against a weak Alabama team! Every team is capable of the occasional awful game, even the great ones.

    Purpleblood you are out of line. I said we have one of the top 5 teams in the country. I think SC has a better team than us. I've been a Tiger fan since 1970. I fly back for a game every year. Just because I think SC has a better chance to beat Oklahoma doesn't mean I'm not a fan.
