I would like to congratulate the LSU Tigers on their victory over Oklahoma and BCS National Championship. You have had an outstanding season. Your coaching staff and players are to be commended for nothing short of a stellar performance. Although our respective teams did not have the opportunity to play each other this year, I am sure that the opportunity will present itself in a post season forum soon. The debates surrounding the recent bowl games (Other teams can only dream of being the subject of these debates.) can be inspired only by teams that demonstrate excellence. Again, I wish to congratulate you on your fine season, your victory in the Sugar Bowl, and your BCS National Championship.

Thanks. I can't force myself to congratulate you for a National Championship but I will congratulate you on your great season and your Rose Bowl win over Michigan. Don't you just wish there was one more college football game next week to settle it on the field?
