I posted my congratulations last night, but I wanted to add another couple of comments. First, your defense played about as smart as any defense I have seen in a long time. It was also very evident that your players wanted that game, maybe even more than some guys wearing crimson. Saban was impressive and classy in victory, as were his players. Again, enjoy the national championship. You all deserve the whole thing!
Good to see civility. I also believe that LSU has now firmly established themselves as a top 5 program with that win. Hopefully Saban will stay, and that trend will continue.
Thank you for your congratulations, Leigh. We're very proud of the class that Coach Saban brings to this program. I hope we get the opportunity to face the Sooners again sometime in the near future...this series has the potential of possibly becoming a natural rivalry, given the proximity of the two states.
