They topped Northern Iowa 21-16 last night and are now Division 1-AA National Champions.

Makes us look better too. Now I don't feel so bad for them giving us a bit of a fight earlier this year. This probably means they are better than about 30 or so Division 1-A teams.

I'd rank them ahead of three of the Division 1-A teams we played: UNT, MooState and Ole Miss.

Yes, I am glad for them for winning the championship. Appalachian State also has a lot of class:thumb: .

Their quarterback could be playing in Division I. He was very good.

Still, this is a D2 team. We should never have to play a team like that. Yea, they won their division's national title, but we shouldn't have had to play them.

I'm happy for Appalachian State, but I'm still not too happy about our performance against them.

they are I-AA, not Div II

There is a BIG difference between I-AA and II.
