Started No.1 and ended No.1. We didn't go wire to wire, but still an incredible feat.

That wasn't as much of a "debacle" as you think. JJ gave it a punchers chance with Ack. When it was clear he didn't have the stuff JJ threw in the towel. Clear because he threw the bottom of our pen and just saved the horses for Monday.

I regret my loss of faith after game 2. Especially love how guys who had done little or nothing throughout the CWS (Jobert, Thompson, Pearson) rose to the challenge when everything was on the line. Crews was outstanding all week and somehow got better Monday night. White, Beloso, Morgan, Hurd, Cooper (who should have made the all-tournament team)...no one disappointed. The much-maligned pitching staff (there's Skenes and that's all) found itself when it was needed most. Maybe not the best team in LSU history, but I'd put them top 3.

OK, @shane0911 , time for you to mea culpa this comment:

Hey man, it is a well thought out plan backed by years of research. It's known as the reverse kod!

LOL, what a night. I wasn't thrilled with the changes and lack of changes Johnson made to the lineup for the final game. HIs changes and lack of changes made a huge difference in the outcome. Probably a good thing he is the coach and not me.
Celebration tonight at the box. For those close enough and inclined to attend , supposed to start at 7:30, gates open at 6:30. Fireworks to close.
WBRZ Channel 2 will stream live and on you tube.
