You've got a hell of a team. Enjoy the feeling, there's nothing quite like it.

Thanks Wishbone. Your guys never gave up. It was a damn nail biter if I have ever seen one..

The defensive speed of both teams was amazing.....

Plus I cannot tell you how impressed I was with the OU turnout before the game on Bourbon. They seemed to be having a great time in New Orleans.
    IT was a great weekend....

I agree with TexasTigers, the OU turnout was unbelievable! I had the utmost respect for the team as a whole but being down there and seeing all the OU fans was great! The fan support is what helps to make champions and championships. I am now making plans to attend the LSU/OU National Championship game in Miami. Hope to see everyone there, and thanks OU fans for your class. I would like to think everyone from OU got a warm Louisiana welcome and came away with good memories(food, fun, southern hospitality) and would not hesitate to make the trip again.

  5. I must say that I dont recall hearing so many positive comments about the fans of an opposing team. I didnt get to go to the game but from all the reports I have heard- the Sooner fans were pure class. Thats nice to see.

Hey, I've been on board for six of OU's seven championships. If you're going to win with class, you gotta lose with class too. Damn disappointed, but proud of our kids too. If you can't be the champs, be a warrior.
Let's do it again next year, what do you say?
