Congrats to the Ragin Cajuns.....Lookin good so far

I hold a grudge against the Capital One bowl for abbreviating our team as "LS" on the scoreboard in 2004. Among other things. So I try to be a little understanding when something similar bothers other fans.

No one can lay claim to be the ONLY users of initials.

OSU. Ohio St. or Okla St. or Oregon St.???

USC. Southern Cal or South Carolina???

MSU. Mississippi St or Michigan St.???

Don't be arrogant about another programs claim to what they call themselves. What do you care? Why should you care??

 

That is what Louisville typically refers to themselves as.

 

Oh, so this "UL" that LL tries to lay claim to simply stands for "University Louisiana"? That's interesting.

Uh, it's a congratulatory thread with "Ragin Cajuns" in it? Was there really ever any doubt?

Plus, the "UL" is apparently trademarked with "Lafayette" spelled out so he's correct. Though not exclusively, it is expressed as UL. UT/Tennessee...so many.
