Does it finally feel good to beat LSU on a totally BS call? How do you Auburn fans explain what happened? I'd like to see any justification for what happened at the end there. Maybe someone that was at the game can explain?

The refs didn't lose this game LSU lost this game with missed tackles, blown coverages, pitiful passing and poor offensive play calling. Where was the pass to the TE in the second half that worked so well in the first?

sorry but the 1 or 2 calls don't win or lose games.

Our offense didn't move the ball when we needed too, our defense didn't stop AU when
    we needed too either.
I think we need to work heavily on extra points, that was the killer.

We knew coming into the season that our offense would be a work in progress and
that our D would have to win some games for us.
It didn't happen, end of story.

You can speculate what would have happened throughout the course of the game all you want. I mean, Russell "could have" thrown for 20 TDs and we wouldn't have to worry about the extra point. But the fact is: at the end of the game they missed their extra point, which should put the game into overtime. I have reviewed this play about 35 times now. THERE WAS NO PENALTY. I repeat, THERE WAS NO PENALTY. When it all comes down to it WE DIDNT lose this game. At the very worse we tied this game. I feel sorry for Auburn having to win in this fashion. They get the W but it has to ring a little hollow.

I agree with Sourdough and Twisted....you just can't start blaming the refs for this one. This game was fought and won in the trenches.

Dont act like you've got sand in your ****** now and start pointing fingers. This is just 1 game in the big the picture....although its a friggin hard loss. I still dont believe the score.

Anyways...heres to hopefully 9 more wins.

Had we defended the touchdown pass correctly, like I'm sure they were coached, then we wouldn't have been in that position...

Can't blame the defense. Impossible to stop the other team on every down. They get scholarships too. You will take holding the opponent to 10 points every day.

No doubt the 10 points is a good total and should produce a win, but you couldn't help but see quite a few blown coverages and umpteen million missed tackles.

I agree there were too many missed tackles but you have to give their players some credit for that. When there were so many "missed tackles" against Toefield and now Alley, we talk about how hard they are to bring down.

No back should be hard to bring down with 5 players hanging on him yet time and time again the AU backs broke out of the tackles of multiple LSU players to break big runs. Sounds like defensive players waiting for someone else to finish the play instead on taking care of business themselves.
