hey guys, just got to a computer, having watched the game via satellite while hunting on the river this holiday. congrats on your win. i'm watching the game on tivo though i suspect the outcome to be the same. sadly, because of chemical intervention, i have little memory of the game except that my hogs lost to a good lsu team. see you down the line...
Thanks for coming back and being a good sport! It was a great game actually. Both of your running backs are awesome. The offense works for the run game, but with just one good receiver, we doubled him and the pass usually didn't work. Nutt is being criticized for not pulling Dick out of the game, and legitimately so. I don't know what's going on up there, but 3-17 is attrocious. It's very hard to win without a passing attack, although you guys did everything but win without one. :lsup: played a good game, limited turnovers, and was generally effective all over the field. You guys have a special (good) running attack, we were very good at throwing the ball, with Russell to Bowe, Davis and Doucet. I think balance won the game for us, and our scatback Trindon Holliday (won 3 100 yd. dash titles in high school, weigh about 160 lbs.). Looks like we have our kick returner for a couple of years. Thanks for a good game, you can be proud of the effort of your team!
LSU beat a good Arkansas team, be proud and represent in Bowl game. I will be pulling for you guys in your bowl. Big of you to come back and be good sport.....shows a lot of class. :thumb:
its my pleasure coming back as this is a very good board. just the right amount of smack to logic. i was hunting on the mississippi river. chicot county, on a spot called yellow bend. beautiful weather. got a nice buck earlier in the hunt. i'll be back through here as the season ends and i'll be rooting for the tigers in the bowl games. we'll talk during basketball as well. btw, that qb of yours is something else. how the hell do you prepare for a guy like that? he has one great career ahead of him. man can he zip the ball.
Thanks for the compliment, and I agree; its why I stay here. We have a bunch of good posters, and some have quite a lot of "personality", but more like your crazy old uncle you'd be embarrased for your girlfriend to see! We have fun here. Another thing, we have female posters, and you can't tell all of them by their avatars, so watch out till you figure out who they are. It helps improve the hygene on the board a little. They're great tiger fans.
