Thanks to all good tigahs and the great southern hospitality that was shown to the Dawg Pound and other dawgs on Saturday. It was a good weekend for food, fun and fans. Special thanks to Bap, Jimmy, Ron, Troy, Kenny, Barbara, Bengal Tiger, Evil Twins, Hail Reagan and others. Forgive me if I've forgotten names. Numerous jello shots will do that to you. :p I received more hugs from tigahs after the loss than I did from fellow dawgs. I hope we didn't overstay our welcome and I think we didn't hump too many legs. As a southern lady, I really appreciate all the good manners provided by all. As far as the game goes, Nick Saban is a great coach, your defense is just as special as ours, Mauck is awesome and you won the game. Both teams made stupid penalties and it makes me wonder what the score would have been otherwise? We enjoyed the game and it was fun to watch. One other thing, LSU could have played us at 11:30am. It wouldn't have mattered.
The fans were primed and excited and it was loud in there!! Kudos to you LSU fans for bringin' your A game. For the record, I do not believe Coach Mark Richt made the "Only one Death Valley" comment. If he did, I'd love to see a tape of it. I think he has way too much respect for Coach Saban and your program than to say such rude jabber. Let's hope it was just Corso running his mouth. Speaking of Corso...he got this prediction right on the money, didn't he? Best of luck Tigahs. I'll be watching you the rest of the season. Go all the way.

    Miss Shellie

    Nice.
I'm curious. Any GA fans that went to Clemson and LSU stadiums care to weigh in on which one is the real Death (Deaf) Valley?

Not even a close call. LSU, of course.

Very nice words Sugar. I think that Georgia deserves a lot of respect. They are one talented team.

Thanks for the great sportsmanship! UGA fans, such as yourself, have earned my respect. You represent your school well. I'd like to say I would be as humble in defeat, but, honestly, I wouldn't even bet on myself doing that. :D

Of course, I can't talk too much smack following this game--we may VERY well end up meeting again in Atlanta...And anything can happen the 2nd time around (ask Tenessee after they beat us in the regular season only to lose in the SECC)...That, and if a rematch for the SEC crown is to be, a UGA team with a healthy Fred Gibson is more dangerous than what they already are.

Good luck throughout the rest of the REGULAR season! :)
