Both teams were in a position to win. CTT kicked the ball short and didn't challenge the spot that would have forced a 4th down. CLM called a pass that might have run out the clock for a game winner. Trite saying, but AU played not to lose and LSU played to win. LSU won.

It was a hard fought game. I'm sure they will all feel it tomorrow.

uhh, we DOMINATED that f'n game. It should not have been close. LSU made it close with all the mistakes. Plus don't forget the Auburn refs, they shined yet again. That block on Dorsey was dirty and should have gotten that player ejected. But that's the kind of play expected from a TT coached team. Tubbs is the most PATHETIC coach in football. I loved it when he yelled at his own refs after the Hester TD. What a joke!

I'd be very proud of the Auburn football team right now, if I were an Auburn fan.

I'm very proud of the LSU football team. They might make mistakes, commit penalties, and drop passes, but, they have a helluva lotta GUTS.

    LSU! :crystal:

Thanks Deceks, you are a class act, as usual!

I thought it was a typical GREAT LSU and Auburn affair. Lots of hard hitting, lots of great plays. Cox played very well for you, and Lester was great also. The defense was tough, especially your front 4. I thought both teams were clicking in the second half, probably my most enjoyable half of football this season.

Ditto, What can I say that hasn't already been said?

    Sorry Deceks,
I'd like to wish you guys good luck but we are in the same division!
I hope AU and Bama lose the majority of their games!:)

    B. Cox really stepped up. I was more worries about AU's Defense coming in to today's game..... If Cox would have been on Defense, they outcome may have been differnt......

So you would be proud that AU intentionally went after Dorsey's knees on that block? Maybe you should be an AU fan.
