You guys went through some growing pains with young players replacing experienced talent this year, but following up a national title with a 9-2 season (that could end up 10-2) and your only losses being to two top ten BCS teams isn't so bad. You guys should be loaded for bear next season.

Thanks, the season was definetly a long struggle but 9-2 against the quality competition we faced is great. We have a better schedule next year and only lose a few key players so the furture looks bright.

  4. Thanks Auburn guy, good luck to you too. You have had one helluva year.

Yes, we are one play / call from being in the SEC Championship game, undefeated @ home, 9-2 with the potential for 10 wins and playing in a New Year's Day bowl. I'm very proud of this team and how it found a way to win. Hope they can carry some 'mo into the bowl game.

    Thanks for the "kudos".

Now, Auburn has to win out. We don't want to go to the Cotton Bowl again. Dallas in January is no fun at all.

We feel pretty good about next year, too. We had the youngest team in the SEC this year and we lose just 9 scholarship seniors--only 5 of whom played very much. Our last four recruiting classes were ranked #1, #15, #1, and #2. Our QB will not be green. Our toughest games are all at home (AU, UF, UT). And the coach is pretty good!
