http://www.sportsline.com/collegefootball/story/9685002 Evidently the SEC is the only conference that doesn't have the balls to discipline the utterly incapable SEC refs.
Well, the PAC-10 offiical that was supposed to be serving a one-game suspension for the OU/Oregon debacle, was called back into action this past weekend because of a "shortage".....and guess where they sent him??? To Arizona/USC! Wonder how badly Mike Stoops wanted to drop kick that guy?
Yeah I saw that last week AtlantaBengal. That is just crazy. I don't think the SEC has the balls to suspend the LSU/AU refs. It wasn't just the Doucet PI call it was multiple calls and no calls that they should've been judged for, plus the fact that the no calls and bad calls only negatively effected LSU. Several of those guys should've been disciplined.
Why would the SEC suspend the officials from the LSU/AU game.. didn't the SEC office support the officials and state they made the "correct" calls. Kind of makes me wonder which game the SEC were reviewing.:angryfire
The funny thing is, OSU didn't pitch a hissy fit, hold endless press conference complaining (a la OU), etc. There were a few comments made and that was it. From what I understand, they didn't ask for the suspension or any other action. Conferences - with exception of the SEC - must be getting touchy about incorrect calls.
