Just a heads up for all you collectors out there, the company currently storing the wreckage from the stadium demolition may sell or auction the remnants. Check out the story in today's Reveille:

I wish LSU would take the Welcome To Death Valley sign and somehow find a way to post it somewhere where the opposing team would have to easily view it or walk under it. I just think that would be real cool!

WOW. I mentioned doing something like this when the demolistion first started. The Welcome to Death Valley sign I thought was off limits. It will be interesting to see how much this brings in. I wonder why LSU did not want to use any of this as fund raising.

Question: Does the demolition company gets to keep the proceeds??? Even, if they do (which I think is the case with demolished items being the property of the demolition company), would they be "gracious" enough to put it back into the LSU coffers? Anyway, I don't think it would be a lot of money.

Do y'all remember the swings they made out of the old redwood seats from Tiger Stadium after they switched to aluminum. I used to have one and it had the numbers and all. I grew up swinging on that swing.
