Just a heads up for all you collectors out there, the company currently storing the wreckage from the stadium demolition may sell or auction the remnants. I wish LSU would take the Welcome To Death Valley sign and somehow find a way to post it somewhere where the opposing team would have to easily view it or walk under it. I just think that would be real cool!
WOW. I mentioned doing something like this when the demolistion first started. The Welcome to Death Valley sign I thought was off limits. It will be interesting to see how much this brings in. I wonder why LSU did not want to use any of this as fund raising.
Question: Does the demolition company gets to keep the proceeds??? Even, if they do (which I think is the case with demolished items being the property of the demolition company), would they be "gracious" enough to put it back into the LSU coffers? Anyway, I don't think it would be a lot of money. ________ Volcano Herbal Vaporizers
Do y'all remember the swings they made out of the old redwood seats from Tiger Stadium after they switched to aluminum. I used to have one and it had the numbers and all. I grew up swinging on that swing.
