Anyone hear about this 'comet' getting brighter unexpectedly? Some are saying it's only about 150 million miles from the Earth and is about the size of the sun. I've posted a few links below. One is to a blog discussing it and one a great article that discusses different possibilities, none of them particularly reassuring. I'm not ready to buy into any of the consiracy theories just yet, but I have to admit, I find all of this a bit disconcerting. Thoughts?

They still don't know what caused it to 'explode' or whatever and from what I've read, it's tail is not visible, so some are speculating that A) it's something else besides the Holmes comet or B) it's heading for Earth. Just because you can't see it's tail doesn't mean it's heading for the Earth; especially when it's 150 million miles away, but it definitely warrants attention.
