Colorado offers Boise St.'s Dan Hawkins HC job...

    I agree, you can't really fault that hire. Whether he works out or not is another question, but if I were looking to hire a coach, he would definitely get a serious look.

    yeah espn is reporting he has accepted the job.....I agree though I think he is the right guy for the job.

    It will be interesting to see how Hawkin's system can perform at Colorado.

    I like the hire, but it's sort of a gamble for the administration IMO. Mike Leech has been pretty successful at Texas Tech in the Big 12. With the Big 12 North being so pathetic, I'd guess that Colorado will be an 8 or 9 win team every year under Hawkins.

    at least it brings some sort of positive news back into the program... something they hadn't had in a long time

    It would be cool to see Hawkins turn around their Colorado program. It's been so screwed up the past few years, and he's probably the guy to get people to respect them once again.
