Meh - let them talk. Ohio State's schedule last year was atrocious and they did aight.

Jarrett Lee and Andrew Hatch need those three games to build some confidence and compete. It could bite us, but I think our starting position in the polls is a much bigger deal. If we start in the top 12 or so, we're fine.

We'll see what the SoS ends up being at the end of the year. I bet it's at least in the top 60 or so, with UGA, AU, FL and Bama possibly all Top 15 teams.

They didn't, they don't, most likely won't in the future either and I'll take the flogging that's coming; however, our OOC scheduling is what it is- it sucks. It's also been re-hashed over and over but I think we need to be realistic- his thoughts are exactly what fans outside see and many of our own do too.

Red's turn to tell us about playing in the SEC...

We refuse to play many home and home series with anyone, which means a big time team won't play us, or better yet we won't play them cuz they want a home and home series. We like the revenue better that comes from 8 home games.

    $$$$$$$$$$

This should not be that difficult to understand, really. Money is what just about EVERYTHING is controlled by...and college football scheduling is no different.

And this schedule as a whole won't be all that bad when all is said and done...unless AU, UGA, UF, USCe, Bama, et al, all wind up around .500. I don't think that's very likely. That said, our OOC schedule is what it is...embarrassing.

Our OOC schedule is terrible and should not be defended. It is always fine to schedule a bad team or two but the fans and players deserve way better than what they are getting this year.

No excuses -- if they wanted one decent game they could have scheduled it.

I agree. I guess I'm just not troubled by it. And this year, I think it works to our favor more than it hurts.

Plus, it's kinda cool being able to have 8 home games every season.

I do wish we had a Va Tech-like game every year.
