Coaches picked the ALL-SEC Team on SECSPORTS.COM.

    ALL-SEC coaches team 2004

LSU leads with 13 players including 9 on the first team. :champs:

Davis and Pollack were unanimous, yet Spears and Webster weren't? Looks like some coach just didn't want to vote for LSU players.

Are the coaches selections made public? Which coach dislikes LSU enough to slight two All-Americans, do you suppose?

it was probably Saban, not wanting to show favoritism

Coaches weren't allowed to vote for their own players, therefore unanimous selections received 11 votes according to the artcle.

    Knee-jerk guess:

    1) TT -- most likely, just the kind of cheap tactic ol big-ears would pull
    2) Richt -- jealous of LSU's success last year.. oh and that double-whomp received.
    3) Holtz -- forgot that LSU was in the SEC

It was Holtz. He admitted he voted for USC in the coaches poll after the Sugar Bowl.

Probably was Holtz that didn't vote for the Tigers. Whitworth being named to the second team is a shocker, but Livings being named to the second team surprised me just as well since he hasn't gotten any pub really. Good for him.

Corey, Travis, Big Ben, Whit, Spears and Skyler on special teams should have all been unanimous IMO. But it's still an honor having 9 first teamers and 13 overall.

Only 1 Sophomore on the 1st team offence. Guess who?

Since Skyler wasn't a unanimous selection as the Return Specialist, who else in the SEC could be considered even close to him.
