Coaches Breaking Ranks To Vote USC #1 Anyway???

    They mentioned this on bother Around The Horn and PTI that the coaches are thinking of not following their deal to vote whoever wins the Sugar Bowl to be national champs and stick with USC if they win. We need whoever they signed that contract with to stop this because now we could in theory win the Suagr Bowl and still not be #1 in either poll!!

    It's impossible. Coaches need to stick with what they do, because they don't know business. It's signed and sealed that the winner of the BCS championship wins the ESPN poll, unanimously... if any coach votes otherwise, I'm sure their ballot would just be changed to put the correct team at the top.

    They can talk whatever garbage they want to say... but when that final poll is out and when that trophy is awarded, LSU will be unaminously at the top. That contract is set in stone, and there's nothing they can do.

    If LSU wins there is no way it can be overlooked this makes LSU sos better than USC anyway.

    There's no hoping to it... that's what contracts are for! :)

    The coaches might in some form of protest send in USC at number one when they email in their ballots, but when they are official, every one of them will have the winner of the Sugar Bowl at the top. They will be readjusted.

    Cant happen

    At the end of the Bowl Season the coaches receive their voting ballots. The #1 team is allready marked in as the winner of the designated BCS bowl (this case the Sugar.) The only think the coaches then can decide upon is who is #2 and so on. The #1 team can not be changed on that ballot.

    Michigan will destroy USC anyway. USC hasn't played anyone all year. Even Oregon St. put over 500 yards on them.

    Michigan will dominate at least three quarters of the Rose Bowl. LSU will have their opportunity. Saban and Stoops are the two best in the country IMHO. Are we a year ahead of shedule? This is great!

    US AGAINST THE WORLD is how I see it

    Last I saw SEC was #1 conference in country at espn.

    How is it the coaches vote usc #1????

    They didn't beat 2 top 5 teams and a undefeated top 15 team
    and then win a championship game
