They go by The Insiders rankings. http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2003/football/ncaa/12/19/recruiting.rankings/index.html :geaux:
I am surprised that Bama is in the top 25 with all that has transpired over the past few years. Congrats to LSU, and make us proud in the Sugar Bowl!
Bama has such a great tradition and access to a load of talent that even in a problem-plagued year they do well in recruiting. It's why they'll bounce back quickly.
Bama is probably going to end up with a top 15 class. Which is great. I like a good Bama team, makes beating them even better The SEC is going to distance itself even further as the best conference in the nation, with the rise of LSU and UGA...
what is nice about LSU's class, which wa addressed in the article, is that there are no superstars among them....but they are all very solid players. Saban will mold them into superstars. As for the big name recruits (Early, Xavier, etc) those will be coming along soon enough. A dynasty has begun on the bayou...enemies of the ole war skule beware!
I think we are very close to the point where we won't recruit anymore.....we'll just reload! Can anyone spell D-Y-N-A-S-T-Y.
