Les Miles this one's on you.

I got the feeling today that Miles would turn this into a Charlie Mac program...win about 7 or 8 games and lose 3-4 per year.

    I agree. Totally outcoached.

My questions are -- with the talented athletes that we have, what do we have to do?

Where specifically does better coaching come in?

I don't believe it will happen, but i suppose it is possible that we could go 8-5 or even 7-6 if all of the wheels fell off.

Before today I didn't have much concern over Arkansas, Bama, Fresno, or even Tennessee. That has changed a bit in my mind with two of those being tough road games.

Call it coaching if ya want (which I agree had alot to do with it)... but the coach can't come out there and catch the damned ball for them...

    19 points off turnovers...

    19!!

If not for that we're sitting in overtime right now instead of sulking. That's not coaching. That's players handing the game over to them.

And one more thing.. is there ANYONE AT ALL on this team that can catch a punt or a kick? Please come forward if so.

I'm not convinced we were outcoached. Les Miles didntfumble 3 or 4 times and throw three interceptions. Les miles didnt miss kickoffs. The play calling wasnt great, but it didnt lose us the game. FLA barely drove the ball against us, they constantly ahd a sort field and gifts from the LSU offense. This one is not all on coaches... mostly on the players and the execution.

Miles is not an SEC coach...plain and simple. He doesn't understand what it takes in this league. Two big time games this year and he is 0-2. I'm guessing we will lose 2 more games this year and finish 8-4. That would be a disaster with this talent...

5 turnovers, 2 muffed punts and a handfull of dropped passes. Reminds me of the SEC champ game last year. Nothing went our way.

Wow...the inmates are running the asylum.

How can it be coaching when you lose three times on special teams with two muffed kicks and a blocked punt?

Then a fumble at the goal line by the QB and two key interceptions late?

They have the tools the coaches give them. they just have to use them. Coaching my ass...give it a rest already.

I guess next id Perriloux should have played.

This game was lost on mistakes on the field...period.

No Les didn't throw interceptions or fumble the ball, but he is "supposed" to be the leader.
I would guess this team has already figured out that which we are now coming to realize, that Les is clueless, the team has no confidence in him which translates into no confidence in themselves, which turns into mistakes on the field.
It's called coaching, Les should try it sometimes.
