Does anyone have any stats on what Michael Clayton has done so far this year? From what i remember, in big games it only seems like he is getting his hands on the ball about 3 or 4 times a game. Stupid me, i just assumed that we would be trying to get the ball in the hands of our most talented offensive player more than twice a game. (he had two catches against USC)

yes they do need to get him the ball more.....but on the other hand, defenses have been putting alot of emphasis on Clayton, allowing others to get open......he has been a great decoy

but I would like to see him get the ball more!!

I hear that argument alot, but I wonder how the other great WRs in college football continue to put up good numbers?

IMO, if we can't get Clayton the ball more on offense, then we should let him play defense ... it can't be too physically demanding being a decoy on offense!

Clayton is obviously the best offensive player on LSU. The only problem (and one that Saban has noted) is that Mauck has the tendecy to throw inaccurate long passes. When playing a team like Auburn who has arguably the best linebackers in the SEC, they'll have to throw to Clayton more downfield. Just my opinion.
