Alaska get's over 900 bucks per person in spending yet every year seems to have the money from the oil fund better known as Permenate Fund Dividend (PFD)to give each resident over 1000 bucks.

I don't like the pork that is in bills now days either.
IMHO, our government is broken when it comes to crime, judiciary and all of
these games congress plays signing bills, legislature.

WE NEED government reform in this country and if it doesn't happen things are only going to get worse.
No one has the guts to do it either, republican or democrat wise.
The Republicans are a bunch of wimps that cater to the media and the Democrats, sure looks that way anyway.

Was anyone ever held accountable for that? I don't remember.

I would vote 3rd party if someone really had a chance to win in this country

Your right. These congress and senate are above the law. Both sides of the aisle are responsible because they should ahve been screaming about one or the other. However they are in a you wash my back I'll wash your syndrome.

We the citizens are at fault also because one of the ways these people get elected is buy gettting some of this pork back home. Basically we are addicted to pork. Maybe if it were out there in everones face enough we would get tired of it and fix it. However out news is more concerned with pick and choose crimes.

 

we could start by killing 100% of the billions and billions in farm subsidies.

 

If we ended all foreign aid too, that would tremendously reduce our budget.

Foreign Aid counts for something like half a percent of the budget.
