When the state high school championship draws more fans, has better competition, and has better teams than Tulane, it's time to reassess your situation. That fat ass president of Toolame realized several years ago that he would never field a competitive team on a regular basis but still wanted in on the money. He helped screw up the BCS even more than it already was.

When you can only fill 2,000-4,000 seats per game, it might be time to consider dropping to a lower division or terminating football. The only thing that will keep Tulane afloat is the 10-year agreement that LSU signed with them last year.

They need to play in a smaller stadium as well. With the Dome 90% empty, it doesn't even feel like a game. There's no tradition, no excitement,...not really much of anything. I have friends that are Tulane alumni and most don't really care about sports.

This is exactly how rumors get started. Next thing you know, people will read this stuff and think Tulane has a football program.
