I'm assuming this is true since NONE of the media has covered the story on at least the internet.
    Talk about media bias.
    Pick your page!
    http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&...I7ADBF&q=obama+says+china+better+than+america

Anyway, any of you have ever been to China?
Obama has made him the laughing stock of the country.
Even Bush has more intelligence than this guy.
You get him away from the TelePrompTer and he makes a fool out of himself!
He should shut up and let Biden talk, there is no doubt he must be smarter than Obama!

It cracks me up that people would seriously consider voting for Obama.
Maybe Hillary can get enough delegates at the convention and run for office.
I will admit she's smarter than Obama!:)
This has to be real embarrassing for the Democrat party!

McCain says staying in Iraq for 100 years is "fine with me"

Top 6 stupid things McCain has said.

    6. "We have a lot of work to do. It's a very hard struggle, particularly given the situation on the Iraq-Pakistan border." --referring to a border that does not exist, ABC News interview, July 21, 2008

    5. "I am learning to get online myself, and I will have that down fairly soon, getting on myself. I don't expect to be a great communicator, I don't expect to set up my own blog, but I am becoming computer literate to the point where I can get the information that I need." --New York Times interview, July 13, 2008

    4. "The issue of economics is not something I've understood as well as I should. I've got Greenspan's book." --as quoted in the Boston Globe, Dec. 17, 2007

    3. "You know that old Beach Boys song, Bomb Iran? Bomb bomb bomb, bomb bomb Iran." --breaking into song after being asked at a VFW meeting about whether it was time to send a message to Iran, Murrells Inlet, South Carolina, April 18, 2007

    2. "I think -- I'll have my staff get to you. It's condominiums where -- I'll have them get to you." --after being asked how many houses he owns, interview with Politico, Las Cruces, N.M., Aug. 20, 2008

    1. "Make it a hundred...That would be fine with me." --to a questioner who asked if he supported President Bush's vision for keeping U.S. troops in Iraq for 50 years, Derry, New Hampshire, Jan. 3, 2008

At least McCain knows how many states there are:

    Here are a few more:

So we've both proven that if you put anyone under the media's presidential campaign microscope, you can find something stupid.

But....McCain hasn't said anything nearly as stupid as..."China has a better infrastructure than us". Anyone who has been to China could tell you that outside of the their major metropolitan areas you basically have nothing but dirt trails. There are large parts of China that still do not have running water or electricity.

We own some land over in Winn Parish. It's at least 25 miles to the nearest neighbor. We've had electricity out there since before I was born. You go 25 miles outside most cities in China and you go back 500 years in history. Those bastards had to build fake walls to hide what they didn't have time to fix in Beijing. Look it up..they literally built eight foot walls to hide their embarrassing areas.

Most of the examples red cited are McCain's personal opinions. Hell...at least he's honest about his shortcomings. Hussein B. Obama doesn't believe he has any shortcomings.

Re: McCain says staying in Iraq for 100 years is "fine with me"

OK, let's look at his exact quote, in context. He didn't say that.

    That is the exact quote.

So . . . it's disgusting that Obama is saying we should invest more money in the United State's ports/airports/trains so we look more promising to business wanting to open shop?

It's a fact that our container ports on the west coast cannot handle the load. We are now counting on a new Mexican Pacific container port to help move excess Chinese containers by rail to Houston and Atlanta. We are NOT developing new high-speed electric trains as in Europe, Japan, and China. Why not? We are allowing AMTRAK to deteriorate with 1960's equipment instead. We actually do have more airport capacity than China, but we haven't built any new major airports since Denver over 20 years ago. The Chinese are building new, modern airports and ports and we are indeed behind the curve on modernization.

It's importatnt that we have a President that can recognize our shortcomings. How else can he address them. To simply imply that Obama is unpatriotic for suggesting that the US had better compete seriously with China in the 21st century is sticking one's head in the sand.

First of all, has Obama or Red ever been to China?
If Obama hasn't been to China how does he know they've spent any money infrastructure?
I do acknowledge they built that Olympic stadium.

The Chinese might as well pass us by, the french already have decades ago when it comes to energy, providing power for our homes and businesses.
