Not only do those idiots declare themselves the best team at the CWS but they also think that the NCAA baseball playoff isn't fair. 1-If Tulane fans overlook critical errors, erratic pitching, and weak fielding maybe they can convince themselves they were the "best" team. Last time I checked, games were played to determine who the "best" actually is and making critical errors at critical points in a ballgame is part of the game. 2-How can anyone consider the baseball tournament unfair? it's a damn playoff system where the winners advance and the loser is eliminated in a double elimination format. Oh, by the way, Tulane was the overall #1 seed in the tournament. The Tulane B.S. would be funny if it wasn't so damn pathetic. LOL He must pull for a different school when it comes to football because if he is a Tulame football fan he will want to get back into baseball mode after the first football game!
Lack of championship mentality. That Tulane's problem....but to be honest, here lately - that LSU baseball's problem. I think Tulane had superior talent this year, though. No mind and heart of champion, no championship.
The point isn't what Tulane lacks on the field or off. The point is that the comments which continue to come from Tulane players and fans after Tulane was eliminated are out of line and are nothing more than lame excuses and whining which are based on sour grapes. I have never heard an LSU player and in fact no LSU fans making comments which suggest that the CWS isn't the best way to determine a champion. Tulane has been to Omaha TWICE in their history and has a combined record of 2-4 in games in the CWS yet the Tulane fan has already figured out that the NCAA baseball tournament is not the best way to determine a champion. Really? Well, if a double elimination baseball format for a baseball tournament isn't the best way then exactly what is supposedly better? For any Tulane fan to state that the tournament and CWS isn't the best way to determine a baseball champion and that the best team doesn't win is beyond ridiculous and is simply stupid, especially when Tulane was the overall #1 seed in the entire tournament. It's just idiotic.
Hahaha, I like this one: Um, yes, I can think of several doubts about that little theory. Namely: Texas, Baylor, Arizona State, and Florida. Maybe there is no doubt that Tulame was the team that felt like they were owed the most since they had the highest ranking all year long. But as we proved to OU in the Sugar Bowl, that don't mean shit!
This guy obviously hasn't witnessed many CWS games. :hihi: But I digress, I think a lot of teams that were deserving didn't make it, BUT that is why you play the game. I think pairing the SEC together in the first round was about typical. I wouldn't have anything against Tulane if it weren't for their fans' "elitist" attitudes. It's pathetic. Boy, could you imagine if Tulane actually won anything worthwhile? It is surprising we don't get many Tulane fans on here.... actually, I forgot, they're smart enough to pose as "LSU fans." :geauxtige I also hate how JUST because their baseball team has been decent (on a national level) the last 5 or so years, they're harping on baseball this, baseball that... gimme a break! It sounds like SOME LSU fans with women's basketball. Just because a team is doing well recently doesn't mean you can disprove the Tennessees and Dukes and UConns of the world.
Yes there is....win the College World Series. BTW, maybe we should give them Tubbervilles # so they can make themselves rings.
