Much of the same, I'm happy here and so is my family, still have unfinished business here ect... The biggest thing is that he had connections with the Bears and that the money was there this year and there were many jobs available for him. He said he still would rather coach kids at the college level. Surviving the opening with the Giants and especially the Bears makes me feel real good about him staying for a good while longer plus he is getting a huge raise .
Have to agree with you Doughman. In the past I have felt Saban was always just putting it off until later but for the first time today he sounded like he was putting it to rest for a while. If he can turn down his friend with the Bears and all the money out there with so many openings I believe we are safe for a while. I feel much more confident saying that now than in the past.
Just finished listening to broadcast on 98.1 He is staying and I believe its for a while. Loves his situation, admits Bears job may have been the best fit. Make no mistake about it THIS IS A MAN WITH CHARACTER !!!!!
