    Fact?

You're forgetting the Anthrax attack just weeks after 9/11. There have been 19 other terrorists attacks that have been thwarted since 9/11. About the same number that were thwarted between the two WTC attacks, including the Millenium bombings which would have been terror on a 9/11 scale.

Fighting terror is an American thing and it has been fought by both republicans and democrats all along. The notion that a democratic vote means surrender to Al Qaida is foolishness of a high order.

Typical Republican fear mongering. That snake oil ain't selling no more, amigo.

Whether he was or wasn't a muslim is a red herring in this discussion. Frankly, I would not vote for a muslim because all of our enemies are muslim (recognizing that all muslims are not our enemy). I will not vote for Obama because his lack of experience scares me and his seeming arrogance despite knowlege from experience makes the prospect even more frightening.

I am contemplating retirement relatively soon. A large chunk of my future income will be post tax 401K proceeds. If Obama gets his way, that tax will be more than double what it is now. Forget that (in my opinion) his economic ideas will result in disaster, the immediate hit to my wallet is more than I am willing to tolerate. And from what I can tell Obama has no ideas which will put money back into my wallet, so, I hope he fails miserably.

Don't you have to be a citizen to vote? Don't you have to speak English to be a citizen? Illiterate people in this country are citizens and they can't read a ballot, but like Nootch's grandmother, they can understand the language and someone can read the ballot to them. It's been that way all along.

I don't understand why California needs ballots in 23 languages if only citizens can vote. Who the hell is voting in California?

Bingo. Even though this thread has attempted to out me as a raving far right racist red neck, the fact that places like Californica actually cater to the dumbasses is what set me off in the first place.

You do not have to speak english to be a citizen. Immigrants who naturalize have to learn English, but there are non-English speaking Americans who were born here and are not immigrants in places like Little Havanna, New Orleans Far East, and China Town.

And you think they are informed voters? I'd like to know how many of them get cash for theirs.

:lol::lol::lol::lol:. You slay me, SF. That's funny!

Not at all. I think he lied to us because he believed the missing evidence would turn up. Dick Cheney told him it would, even though our own inspectors who had spent 10 year on the ground assured us publicly that they were not there and would not be found. Oops!

I don't think he is a dishonorable individual looking for personal gain. I just think he's an incompetent President whose word can't be trusted any more. He has diminished the United States of America economically, militarily, morally, and reputably.

Some people just need to believe that their pig is a horse.

Obama is talking about raising capital gains rates. Withdrawls from your 401K are taxed as regular income. Your regular income rate will not double even if the Bush tax cuts are allowed to expire.

I do not like Obama's econimic policies either, and they are the reason I will not vote for him. I am unable to determine how bad they will be because there is no substance to them to decipher.
