I've seen pictures of the vehicle and they are horrific. What's puzzling from afar is how Chad could sustain such serious injuries and based on the reports I've read the other two occupants received minor injuries which were treated at the scene. Get well soon Chad. :thumb:
May God Bless. Prayers sent to Chad and family. Please make a full recovery. I have purposely not opened this thread in fear of what I just read. This has made me sick to my stomach.
What a terrible thing. It truly is sickening. People have recovered from worse, and that is what is important. Just a shame.
I hope every thing is alright. The implication of amputation is never good, however what worries me is the poor perfusion in his foot. If that isn't re-perfused then he will loose his foot. My prayers are with him. Some good news I can tell you guys that he is in good hands. Say what you will about the quality of University Hospital but I know the surgeons that they train there are some of the best in the country, and they will give him the best shot at a full recovery. He is in good hands.
Sorry guys. If he doesn't get the blood back into his foot it will start to decay and die. So the surgeons don't have all the time in the world. Once it starts to die its over they have to cut the foot off. Like I said they know what they are doing over there. But every little bit helps so we need to keep him in our thoughts and prayers.
Just reported a few minutes ago. Jones' agent, Rocky Arceneaux, said by phone minutes ago his client is "in recovery" and that the immediate prognosis is positive. "Up to this point, yeah, I think everything went smoothly," Arceneaux said. "Obviously, they won’t know (the long-term prognosis) for a while, but everything I’m hearing is good." Asked if blood flow has been restored to Jones' foot, Arceneaux replied, "I’m sure it is. I don’t think they would have come out of there if it wasn’t."
